I’ve never been in Taiwan yet, but because of Aldous Calubad, I was able to try their cuisine without leaving the country.
Xiao Nan Men, located in Z Square Mall offers Taiwanese cuisine. So if you wanna experience their food, you know now where restaurant to go.
We started our foodie adventure with Xiao Long Bao (Php199.00).
Ja Chang Noodles (Php159.00).
Fried Stinky Tofu (P199.00), literally stinky. The owner said that the longer they preservation, the better taste is. That is how they treated tofu in Taiwan.
Beef with Bell Pepper (Php288.00).
King Fish in Mango Chili Sauce (Php250.00), the fish looks angry. I liked the flavor of this dish. A bit tangy and spicy at the same time.
Yang Chow Fried Rice (Php199.00), tasted like Chowking’s Yang Chow. It was good!
Three Cups Chicken (Php199.00), I honestly don’t know why they called it three cups chicken; nevertheless I liked how it was cooked.
Fried Xiao Long Bao (Php199.00), topped with black sesame seeds.
Spicy Wanton (Php199.00).
Deep Fried Pork Chop (Php199.00).
Stir Fried Garlic Taiwan Sausage (Php199.00).
