The Gathering of Greatness

Tired and hungry, Jam and I came late when Team Aldous celebrated its 3rd year anniversary at Manila Culinary and Hospitality Academy with a theme of “The Gathering of Greatness”.

It was more than one hour of waiting for Jam.. No. I don’t wanna wait in vain for your love, ‘Cause if summer is here, I’m still waiting there.. Sing it, girl! 😜
So we immediately took some photo of the foods catered by The Royal Cater. Their version of Pork Kebab with Hollandaise Sauce is slightly sweet. Sweet like me! Weh? Haha. The Royal Caterer dishes includes Penne with Shrimp Tomato Vodka Cream Sauce, Linguini with Creamy Pesto, Spaghetti Dried Sweet Tomato, Chicken Liver Pate with Melba Toast, Mango Tapioca, Blueberry Truffle and more.

Dude, Maja Blanca is so creamy and heavenly! Obviously, I ate a lot. 😂

I became part of the team when I mentioned to Jam that I was invited by Zomato for a foodie meet up. Jam introduced me to Aldous and started to invite me on their food event.

Fab Summer with Banana Peel

I really had a great time attending Banana Peel Summer in the City event! “Summer is a state of mind” they say and Banana Peel adheres to that, makingthe most favorite of the two seasons in the Philippines an all-year round affair. This year, the company that introduced the first flip flop concept store in the Philippines takes fun under the sun from the beaches, right here at the metro. Some of Banana Peel flip flops. 🙂

On May 16 and 17, Banana Peel invites flip flop lovers to enjoy the summer good vibes through its “Summer in the City” event at the UP Town Center.  This is Banana  Peel’s  way  of  thanking  its  customers  for  continuously  supporting  its products.

“Summer in the City is a way for us at Banana Peel to have an afternoon of good vibes, fun and treats with our customers,” said Charmaine Manuel,  Marketing Manager  of  Banana  Peel.  “Just  by  presenting  a  receipt  worth  P300.00  from Banana Peel,  our  customers got  to enjoy all  the treats in the venue,” added Manuel.

The fighting maroon flip flops! :D #TatakUP

The  event  features  five  activity  areas  for  its  loyal  followers  to  enjoy,  which includes  the  Adventure  Central  where  customers  can  play  with  all  over sized classic games like Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, and Snakes & Ladders; the Fashion-Forward Style Boulevard where customers are treated to free manicures, makeovers, face painting  and  hair  braiding;  check  out  the  raffle  prizes,  stage  games  and afternoon acoustic performances at the Chill Square; At the Bite Yard, customers will enjoy the snacks and refreshments such as noodles, chips, bread, pretzels,Korean ice cream and favorite summer refreshments; and more fun and a bit of education is available at the Carnival Block, where guests will enjoy the ring toss, table drop, yard pong and duck hunt, and an interactive talk on marine life and conservation brought by WWF Philippines, a partner of Banana Peel.

I won in their ring toss game and they gave me a bottle of beauti drink! Thanks Mogu-Mogu and Beauti Drink! I also won in Quack-a-luck booth and I got a planner!

Summer in the City is made more fun and exciting through Banana Peel’s partnership with Mary Kay Philippines, Beauty and Butter, Sun Cellular, Mogu Mogu, Beauti Drink, Hawk Bag, Beach Hut, Owl Coffee, Pan de Manila, Nissin Yakisoba, Jack ‘n Jill Pretzel Crisps, Jack ‘n Jill XO Candy, Jack ‘n Jill Chippy, Wilkins, Binggrae Ice Cream, World of Fun, Sports Zone, Fun Time, AyalaLand Premier, Pilipinas 911, and Contigo Philippines
