Review: The Urban Cafe, Quezon City
October 16, I received an invitation from Zomato for the grand opening of The Urban Cafe, and promptly said “YES! I’m going!” A cafe inside the hardware, that is The Urban Cafe. I was surprised when I found out that the main product is crocodile meat. Yes! Haha. The owner has a crocodile farm so they decided to introduce the crocodile meat to the market. Don’t worry! This is legit! 🙂 Actually the owner are planning to export their products in Russia and China!
For appetizer, we tried Croc Cigar for only P160.00. Crocodile meat with basil, cheese and olive. Two pieces of cheese flavor and two pieces jalapeño.
I ordered Pasta Carbonara for P140.00. Very tasty! 🙂 #HappyTummy #TheUrbanCafePh Creamy chicken sauce with smoked bacon and mushroom with two slices of bread as they described it.
Erine ordered Pasta Bolognese for P130.00. Lean ground beef with Italian tomato sauce with two pieces of bread.
Kuya Mike ordered Pasta Arrabbiata for P160.00. Pasta you’ve never taste before! Served with extra jumbo sausage and two slices of bread.
We also tried their Crispy Pan Roaster Croc for only P210.00. Crispy fried crocodile meat. The healthy version of Crispy Lechon Kawali. Crunchy without excess fat, served with steamed rice.
Their best seller, Croc Sisig. They made it healthier using crocodile meat. This is the chef’s house recipe. Served with egg and steamed rice for P195.00.
Another signature dish is the farm bred Croc Tapa. Tender crocodile strips marinated in their own tapa garlic sauce mix and served with egg and steamed rice for only P195.00.

The Croc Burger with Cheese. Burger with 100 % pure crocodile meat and served with fries for only P170.00.
For drinks, I ordered Hazelnut Mocha Frappe for P160.00.
